The PNALM is an Italian National Park founded in 1922.
The oldest in the Apennines, and the Italy's second declared park.
With snow-capped mountains, crystal-clear rivers and lush beech woodlands, the Abruzzo park in central Italy offers you the chance to observe some of the country's most iconic animals such as wolves, bears, Apennine chamois. Not to forget the big number of species living in the woods.
I visited this National Park for many years now.
During the long time of hiking, of wait, camouflaged inside a bush or hidden behind a rock, I have learnt to listen the nature and I've seen what I had never seen before.
